The high school I graduated from had their 50th anniversary celebration today. It is 50 years old. Now, it was there for quite a while before I graduated from there. This is a pic of one of the officers of the Lake Highlands Highlandettes Drill Team. They entertained us for a bit.

It was cool to walk the halls I used to walk down. Things have changed some with new tile, a new Student Center and wing but dang, the memories came flooding back. I found my old locker and you can still unlock it by holding your ear to it and turning the knob on the lock. The classrooms look the same and I swear the desks are the same.

I sent two to the office for running in the halls and two for PDA while I was there. LOL! Of course, I was laughed at but it was fun to see some folks I haven't seen in a long time. They had some food trucks set up out front and tons of pictures of past years. It was pretty cool. I found my friend, Sue, that I used to get in trouble with and we started talking about everything we used to do. I miss those days. Sometimes I wish I could go back.
