TRANSITION OF MY BLOOD GOING INTO A TEST TUBE OR THREE

Grapevine, TX

Today I had my yearly exam at the Oncologist to make sure the cancer has not returned. I seem to always put up this shot every year but it kinda hard to get a pic while you are getting a Petscan. :)

I still get quite nervous when I am scheduled to go and I was 7 months late in seeing him. When you don't have insurance stuff like this has to wait. However, the Doc seemed pretty sure everything was okay. No "lumps" found anywhere and my weight is good as well as my blood pressure, 110/60, and heart rate. So, hopefully my tumor marker count will be good as well. Won't know that for a couple of days.

btw...sorry if I grossed anyone out but pretty much all I have for today and this has been a part of my life for the past 6 years.

I get checked every six months, and the needles don't look at all like that!

Doesn't gross me out. How do you rate a tiny butterfly needle? They always stick a huge one in my arm. :) Sounds great and I'm sue the test will be as well.
