I went out to the lake this evening after dinner and saw this guy doing a photoshoot. I waited until he was done and saw them walking up the pier so I went on and headed for the pier. As I came around the corner I saw his bag and the lady's purse he was shooting just sitting there right here like it is in the picture. However, he and his clients were at the other end of the pier.
There's a lot of crime in that area and if I wanted to, I could have taken off with his bag and her purse. I couldn't believe it. They would never have noticed til it was too late. But, I asked him, "Hey, you wanna leave that stuff here? Ya know, I could have just walked off with all of it and you would never have known." He said, "I'd have tracked you down." yeah, right. Then he said, "It's all good." I said, "Okay, go ahead and leave it there. You may not be so lucky next time. The person who sees it next may be a criminal."
He didn't seem too concerned. Evidently, he's had nothing stolen. I've seen plenty of cars out there with their windows bashed in because of left cell phones, etc... When I go out there, I have an eye on my vehicle, never leave anything out that someone would want and have a heck of an alarm on it. But, there are folks like this that will have to live and learn by their own mistakes.
