REMEMBERING A NATION IN TRANSITION

10 years ago today we were attacked and thousands of people died. Our country went into transition that day. We stood together and helped each other and I pray that never stops. The enemy cannot destroy our love for our country.

I've been listening to each name being read off this morning who died on that day and my tears fall. I am thankful to God that I still have my family with me here but my heart is very heavy for those that have lost loved ones because of that fateful day. I will never forget those that lost their lives be they civilians, firefighters, police officers or military personnel. May God keep his hand on all those family and friends of ones that died that day and in the days and years that have followed because of 9/11/2001. May God be with you everyday and may God Bless the USA!

Nicely captured and presented, Cindi. It is amazing that this tragedy has made us stronger and I agree that the sense of loss is at times overwhelming.

a great tribute picture Cindi to the people who died innocently...
but i must also write down that i do not agree entirely with your analysis as since 9/11 a lot of innocent people died in other countries then the USA

A sad day to remember. My thoughts go out to those who lost their lives and to their families who miss them.

Many of us were glued to our TV sets today just as we were 10 years ago.The horror of that day is still too difficult to fathom.I do agree with the commentators though that the sense of community between all races and crossing all economic barriers that was created that day does seem to have mostly disappeared unfortunately.
This world could do with a good dose of understanding!!

certainly an historic day in North America, haunting and harrowing...the myth oif invulnerability due to remote location and military preparedness was shattered forever.....so many innocents died in the vicious attack....mostly Americans, yet a good few Canadians too. ..it's well worth reflecting on the reasons behind this event, some difficult to accept, some simpler to understand...now we must move on.,.learning from the lessons of that awful time... and preparing for an even more dangerous future just during the course of time..

“They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.”
