FIREWORKS STAND

These were few and far between in Texas this year due to the drought conditions. Everything is so dry that all it takes is a spark to get a wildfire going and out of control. The few that were open weren't doing much business so I guess they'll have to try to make up for it during New Years.

We still have idiots in the neighborhood shooting off fireworks around here. We've had only 1.5 inches of rain since June 1st - it's very dry.

Even with the draught, there are still many fireworks stands in eastern Collin county.

I think there were more fireworks stands on the road this past weekend than there were orange highway barrels. Seems like every grocery store, mall parking lot and convenience store had a stand. Nice shot of this one!

All of ours were closed down because of the drought. :( Lady Liberty will beat any deal! Love it!
