Let me know when you find a money tree, Cindi! ;)

Only trouble with this one is they will get wet in the rain! Sure won't keep their shape either! :-) Great eye Cindi!

I saw another shoe tree in northern California.... bizarre!!!!! Great find ;)

There are some strange people around, aren't there?

Never had mine thrown in a tree. A power line once...

An interesting find and well shot, but I really find this such annoying thing to do to a tree.

Funny catch, Cindi, and perfect caption (as always) ...

Too funny isn't it? Why would anyone throw away their shoes at the cost of runners? I think LynnH has the right idea...bullies!
Stephanie07-Jan-2011 11:18
I don't see my size up there...
Cool drive by Cindi! :)

That was a drive by shot? You have mastered the art of drive by composition! Maybe it's called cropping. I don't care. Great shot!

Cindi, this is a rare Shoe Tree, looks like most of the fruit, er shoes have been already harvested! The age of the tree determines the size of the shoe! V

HAHAHAHA.... this is great!!!

When I was a teenager, the bullies on our school bus would take your shoes and do this. They were awful kids, all ended up in trouble with the law and lots of other problems. I'm glad you caught this and it makes me curious to find out the story behind it.
