I got out of the house for an hour or so this afternoon while my dog, Sadie, was sleeping. I saw this young lady at the lake with her pup. And, I started to cry.

You see, my Sadie will probably be going to doggie Heaven on Monday. She's been really sick the last few days and the Vet says it is most likely kidney failure. So, I'm trying to spend as much time as I can with her as I know what is, more than likely, to come on Monday.

Yes, I've been crying because my little buddy is going to leave me soon. She was my constant companion when I got sick and we are tightly bonded. She's like my shadow. Never away from my side except when I can't take her with me.

I'm going to miss my Sadie girl. And, I hope this young lady gets to spend a lot of years with her pup.
