Of course, I can never turn down a chance to get wet so I ran through the fountain when Carissa said "I dare ya". Of course, I never turn down a dare and that has gotten me into a little trouble but I've managed to talk my way out of it. It got a little warm yesterday afternoon at the Fair so I decided cooling off in the fountain was a good idea. Felt a lot better afterwards and was dry again by the time I got back into the Jeep an hour or so later.
Most of the stuff at the Fair is free except food and rides so you can do a lot without spending a lot. Or you can eat your way through the Fair and spend a lot of money which I do not do. For the rides and food you have to buy coupons that are worth 50 cents each and you pay with those coupons. Carissa and I shared a couple of food items and only ended up spending $10 between the two of us so it was a cheap day. And, we had fun.
We also got into the Fair for $2.00 by bringing in 3 cans of food for the Food Bank. So there are ways to get in and enjoy the day and spend very little money. :)
