MEMORIES - OF THOSE WHO HAVE PASSED BEFORE US

Fort Worth, TX

I'm sure everyone that is buried here is/was remembered by someone who loved them or family that honor them.

This cemetery is in much need of some maintenance. Those who lived before deserve to have their final resting place taken care of. It saddens me to see the grounds not mowed or maintained.

I shot this image as I drove through it and saw downtown. Not until I got home did I realize I captured a headstone with the name Smith on it. Hope it's not an omen. I'm not ready yet to leave this earth.

Oh, this is an interesting scene. Nice idea to have it in B&W. It has a mysterious mood, Night of the Living Dead atmosphere. I wouldn't worry about Smith... I'm going with Laine's theory. V

Very neat image with the "big city" in the background.

The juxtaposition is thought provoking.

Wow! this is an outstanding b/w photo! Yes, I went to the Veterans Cemetery to my father's grave site over Mother's Day weekend. I'll have to post one of them.

An interesting picture of what looks like a cement tree as one of the head stones, and I'll bet there is a Smith in almost every cemetery so don't worry, when the Lord calls......

Think it's a safe bet that many SMITHS have come & gone that weren't you, Cindi :) Like you I hate to see resting places not looked after.

We're not ready for you to go either Cindi! You're too much fun & the US needs more patriots like you!
These folks certainly have a lovely view of downtown, don't they?
