MEMORIES - STUDENT DRIVER

Fort Worth, TX

I remember taking Drivers Education when I was 15 and passed by driving test with flying colors. This car on the highway reminded me of those days.

Stunning detail and color.

GREAT reflections in the bumper! I saw a driver's ed car last week and the teacher was SLEEPING with clipboard in his lap and teen driver at the wheel. I almost wrecked trying to get a picture, but it wasn't meant to be!

Excellent idea to have a sign like this - fancy car to learn with.
Guest 19-May-2010 20:08
At least this sign is large enough to identify them to the rest of us crazy drivers.

I wish I'd be able to learn in such a cool car instead of the old driving school Datsun!

I don't remember having such nice cars when I took it.
Frank Brault19-May-2010 17:17
Nice catch. It brings back memories for me too.

Very cool shot. I was taught to drive in the parking lot of a soccer stadium in a Holden Kingswood with three on the tree. :)

I always steer clear of driver's ed cars! Were you shooting while driving? Excellent capture Cindi! :-)

Believe it or not, I did not learn to drive until after my four children were born. And, I wasn't about to get in a car with one of those fool teachers.
This is a spiffy car, bet those students feel really grown up.

Ah you children, your much too young! Never had to take a class in school, just had to listen to my Dad!

I drove a Ford Maverick in my drivers ed class. This is much cooler!
:O)

I could tell you some really funny stories about driver's ed. I know the driver's ed teacher passed me just so I wouldn't take it again. LOL

My car was cool too...a Volkswagen.:))))

Nice treatment of this photo, Cindi ... so that was you about 14 years ago, huh?
Amazing how time flies ...

Yes. I literally steer clear of them and give lots of room. V.
