REFLECTIONS AT THE LAKE

Lake Hawkins, TX

After leaving my sister's house, I drove by the lake one more time before heading home. Yesterday, my friend, Les and I put a memorial cross out in Dave's favorite camping spot. I'll be ready to unveil Dave's gallery very soon. It is so beautiful and Dave always said he wanted to retire there. In a way, he did. A kind of dreary day but beautiful just the same.

Beautiful colors and reflections. We have little of color here. Certain places have wonderful memories for us and there comes a time when memories of certain people are all we have.
