TITC - THANKSGIVING

Fort Worth, TX

I caught this homeless man and banner downtown yesterday. Reminds me how not everyone will have a nice hot meal with family and friends today. Makes me thankful for the things God has provided for me. I have a great family, fabulous friends, a roof over my head, a job (although it isn't the best job around it is still a job that so many right now don't have), food in my stomach and love in my heart. I am thankful for everything in my life and that includes good times and bad times as well. The bad times make you stronger and a reminder that life isn't always easy. For the folks that don't have anything or anyone, my prayers this Thanksgiving are for them. That they find the love they are looking for and that God will provide to them what they need. I try to do my part as much as I can and pray others will help as well. So, just remember, when you think things are not quite going your way, be thankful that you have all you have and remember those that are struggling to survive everyday.

Now, on a more positive note, I wish to all my friends on Pbase, whether here in the good ol' USA and around the world a wonderful Thanksgiving and weekend. May you all be truly blessed and thanks to you all for being my friends. I cherish each person I have come to know here and just know I love you all! Happy Thanksgiving to all!

A moving shot Cindi! Thanks for sharing it with us. It gives us all a lot to be thankful for in so many ways. There are so many broken people. My prayer today is for those less fortunate than I. My God show Himself to them in a mighty way this Thanksgiving.
Have a wonderful day Cindi! Eat too much and be ye not guilty! :0) VVVV

There is always someone less fortunate although sometimes it's difficult to remember that.

Have a good time this weekend! Most of us do have a lot to be thankful for, and thanks for thinking of those less fortunate.
