Went to the funeral home tonight for the viewing and to comfort Kay and the kids. My dear friend, Steve McCracken passed away suddenly Wednesday night leaving behind a beautiful wife, Kay and his 4 wonderful kids. Kay is having a difficult time right now, so I'm sure I'll be taking her out of town with me alot in the future. Kay and Steve were always a part of "our little group" and even though Steve is no longer with us, Kay will still be there with us and he will be in our hearts forever. Remember to kiss and hug your loved ones each day and to tell them how much you love them as life can be taken away in a second.

After the viewing, Sandy, her husband Billy, Jeff, Lisa and I went out to eat together. We needed the time to be together and reflect on how much we all mean to each other. We did this toast in honor of Steve and how much he meant to us. Rest in Peace, Steve. We all loved you and will miss you dearly.
