SOLDIER WALKING FROM THE FEDERAL BUILDING

Fort Worth, TX

Backpack and full uniform in almost 100 degree weather. I believe he was getting ready to head to Iraq or Afghanistan soon. I told him how proud I was of him and wished him well.

I met a canadian soldier on a ship, a young of 20 going to afghanistan, he was glad I took photos of him, all sharp in his street uniform. I was hoping to get news later on, but never did. I think about him, hoping to get another message on his return, but I guess his mind must have being on other things when he did. 123 death so far there, what is sad is that there are girls in the count.

Great photo, nice that you used the opportunity. My uncle was telling about the gratitude campaign. It's a sign you can use that all military knows it means thank you for your service. Here's video link,http://www.gratitudecampaign.org/shortmovie.php
