LOCKED AND LOADED

Fort Worth, TX

Okay, some excitement today outside our building. I shot this one through the window. Six Cops, 4 Police cars, 1 undercover car and two suspects. I heard yelling and looked to see what was going on and they arrested the two suspects without any bloodshed. Don't know what was going on but had to get the shot. At one time all 6 cops had their guns locked in on the two suspects but the images I took of those were between the blinds and didn't come out clear. And it looked like I could be in the line of fire if there was a stray bullet. So, moved to another window and had to shoot at an odd angle to get three of them aiming at the suspects. You can clearly see the cop on the right and the one on the left and there is another right behind the one on the left. If you look closely you can see the barrel of his gun. Both of the suspects were taken to jail. Don't know what they did but they are now spending a little time in the jailhouse tonight.

Wow! That looks like serious action of a kind I wouldn't want to be anywhere near.

this the kind of excitement we like to look at... not be involved in ~smile~

Nice break in your day!! I think you got a pretty good shot here, despite the POV.

So, just another boring day at work, huh? ;-)

Hey Cindi,
It probably won't be for long. It seems like the police risk their lives to capture criminals all the time only to have them let loose and back out on the streets in less then 24 hours. My friend's son was on the Dallas police force and he left the force because of that. This is a great candid shot! Glad you got out of harms way.

you should have pulled your gun out and assisted them!

Great 'spying' shot Cindi. I never want to be that close to a drawn weapon; although I do shoot at the range – but that’s a very controlled situation – unlike what you’ve seen here.

It's like TV. Only real!

Probably a stolen car. Good news shot.
