My AC and I are not on good terms right now. Not all relationships are good ones! LOL!

What was supposed to cost $65 because of insurance cost me $315 due to the fact the coils were dirty....the AC guy told me that I should clean them regularly which means taking the stupid thing apart! You gotta be kidding! He spent 10 minutes cleaniing the coils and then replaced a part that the insurance did pay for but $250 for cleaning the coils????? Give me a break! So, yesterday, was not a good day until he left I decided it wasn't worth getting upset anymore over. I'll be complaining to the company, of course.

Although your image is great-I do not like your story Cindi!!! Our's has been out for 3 days now and the repair man is set to come this afternoon. I was excited because we were told there was only a minimal service fee! I hope that once he comes today we are not given the same story you were!!!

Here in Juneau Alaska we will hit a high temp of 61 today( scorcher). We might see 75 degrees this weekend though. Should be the hottest weather of the year. I couldn't live in the hot climates like you guys down there. By the way our air conditioning is free here. Cheers, Ron

Yeah, cleaning the coils aren't covered under the warrantry. I paid over $300 to do mine. Remind me to show you how to do cleaning on your own..I can even do it with one arm! Just remember how happy you are going to be when it starts getting into 100 degrees and your house is nice and cool!
