Okay, the theme wouldn't be right if I didn't have something that conveyed what Texas is about. Many old barns, cattle, horses, ranches, etc....can be found along with cities, mountains and coastline. But, in my neck of the woods, this is something I see everyday. This is part of the ground beneath my feet.

Nice old barn...looks like it could use a new roof, like the bovine in the pasture. Nice setting. Prefer the country to the city!

Ah Cindi, are you sure you didn't shoot this on your trip to Tennessee???? Could have been made anywhere 'round here. Of course you Texans did steal most of your culture from Tennessee...Davy Crockett, Sam Houston..... ;)
