HIGH FIVE, MOM!

FORT WORTH, TX

Whenever I say to Zeke, "High Five" he puts his paw up and hits my hand. He's pretty danged smart for a cat. I swear, both my dog and my cat completely understand me when I talk to them.

Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi
1/60s f/4.0 at 20.0mm iso400 full exif

other sizes: small medium large auto

Clever cat. Our Holly enjoys a good conversation, as long as it's not about politics or religion ;-)

My little schnauzer does the same thing! Too cute! What really gets me is when they cop an attitude just like my kids did...I swear the little devils are even rolling their eyes at me!! :)
Sure do love 'em tho!!

I believe you Cindi...
i also believed my cat and my dog and even my doves
understood a little of me and me a little of them
there is a real connection
when there is true love and respect...

Now this reminds me of the Ad-Dressing of Cats from T.S. Eliot's "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats " from which the mucical " Cats " comes from.

With Cats, some say, one rule is true:
Don't speak till you are spoken to.
Myself, I do not hold with that -
I say, you should ad-dress a Cat.
But always keep in mind that he
Resents familiarity.
I bow, and taking off my hat,
Ad-dress him in this form: O CAT!
