I chose faith today as my topic. After attending the funeral of my dear friend, Curt Berrier, today I received this scripture. These words were written on the handout they had. This man had a deep faith in God and touched so many people in his life, a life that was cut too short. Although, we shed tears because of our own loss, we know he is in the Arms of God now and no longer suffering. My faith is in the One and Only, the God of the Universe, the Creator of all things. He is the Only one in Control and allows things to happen for reasons we sometimes don't understand but as long as we have faith He will always bring us through the bad times as well as dance with us in the good times. He gives me strength each day to go on and He is the only one who has gotten me through my hardest times. He has provided miracles, that some folks call coincidence (I don't believe in coincidence), for me that have no other explanation so I do believe in Him with all my heart and soul and wish everyone could find the joy I've found and try to share through my images. If you want to know why I appear so happy and loving, it is because of God and His Son that live in my heart. Without Him, I would not be the same person. The caring and loving spirit I have was given to me by Him for me to share which I try to do. I am not trying to force religion down anyone's throat as I believe it is a relationship and not about religion. My relationship with Him is strong....is your's? He offers you a free gift of eternal life if you will only open your heart. He takes care of the rest. I know some of you won't agree with me and that is okay. But, what if you are wrong? What if there is a God...what will you have to say come judgement day to Him when He says I never knew you. Do you want to take that chance? Your choice....your life, now and for eternity. All I can do is love you no matter what and show you the light I have inside me and not judge for that is not my place. That is between you and the Lord. Again, it is not about religion but about Faith and the free gift offered so lovingly to you.
