I knew something was off when I started a continous cough on Saturday while in Austin. Then, yesterday afternoon, the sneezing, coughing and nose started getting stuffy and today it is a full blown horrific cold! I hate not being able to breathe!!!! Then, while I'm sitting here having my own little pity party, I get an email from friend I knew from work who is going thru chemo.....that just set me straight. I have a cold, she has cancer. Had cancer and I think I'll take the cold over that. God has a way of putting things in perspective for me. My little cold will go away soon but she'll have a fight that will last quite longer. She's a trooper and will overcome breast cancer like I and so many others have. Dawn, I love ya girl and with you every step of the way...just can't hang around you right now because your immune system is down.
