Good afternoon Cindi: I visited your exhibition this afternoon at the Mac Center for the Arts and was so impressed with your work. I live in Magog, Quebec and I am a member of the new Club de Photo de Magog. We are a small group of people 20 and it is convivial this way. I am inspired by your work and hope to improve my skills over the years.

I have emailed you several times on the sbcglobal account regarding a book project I am researching. Could you please get back to me. firstname.lastname@example.org
I'm having my first show tomorrow night at a local gallery. I'm calling it "Picture-A-Day Expo." I'm only sending this to you and Colleen because the two of you have been my biggest encouragers over the years.
Hi Cindi. I just wanted to say thankyou for all your encouragement and support in my growth as a photo person...........I am tired of PBase and need to move on. There are good people here, to many memories and my soul cries for new wind...........I wish you the best with life and your creativity. When my subscription lapses in the next few weeks or so I will not be here any more. I wish you well in your life and loves.........and Texas is always gonna be a special place for me. Wish I had explored it more..............be blessed, Graham

RE Franz story about his grandfather; (froom Google Translate)
My grandfather was a mechanic driver on the Joan of Arc in the 20s.
Like all sailors wore tattoo on his left shoulder a bust of a seaman on the bottom anchor, all in monochrome tones of blue china.
At the time it was a distinctive sign which still meant something.
It was the membership of a group of individualists for whom the commitment (whatever way) became a true priesthood.
I have written extensively on this and embittered anarchist backpacker, a simple man who nevertheless has been able to carve with a knife in a wooden beam of 1.26m 1:100 exact replica of the ship on which he served.
After his military period he has never owned a car but riding his BSA 250 damn sure it was the ancestor tattooed.
And when he drove in his Berliet marcel blue glass down and cigarette in his mouth, I swear this guy was a real hard!
Thanks for the comment on my picture .

Your photos are awesome. Your taste for life shows (air, H2O, sun, sky, clouds, the moon, sunrises and -sets). And then I ran across "Tough". Whoa...!
Your photos are bigger than life but they probably don't hold a candle to you, yourself.

Cindi, I wsa trying to get a decent shot (in the dark) for a friend's web site. I am trying to figure out how to change that white shirt. It's too bright. I didnt notice it in the dark.
Thank you Cindi, I have fun photographing them.
good work - quality and quantity of shots
Cindi, There were actually 3 photographers close to the bull. I was trained on the middle one thinking I would catch the guy flying through the air!! Luckily that didnt happen.
Thank you for your visits and kind words. As to the sunset pics, they represent hours of waiting to see what develops. Because of the drought this year, I have taken very few since we have had few if any clouds. Thank you for your encouraging comments.
Thank you Cindy, That was a very sweet comment about my Dad.

Thanks for your help in identifing the Heron,
I was just about to search the net for the type. You must know a lot about birds. It was pretty easy to take his picture, It lives in a retention pond behind a major business in North Austin and is used to lots of traffic. I got within 10 feet if it.
Thanks for your kind comment,

Hi Cindy, i love your pictures, i'm deeply impressed!!! Thanks for your comment!
Cindi! I intended to pay a courtesy visit after your kind remarks about my galleries and images. What I found was a big, wonderful surprise with galleries just full of energy and vitality. Your personal story is inspirational, and I loved how you have included all the devoted folks who shared with you that traumatic journey and triumphant outcome. Others before me here have also found it hard to find the right words - I'll just say that your image called "Not a dry eye in the place" says enough. With my very best wishes ... Brian
Love it! :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
Your photos are certainly refreshing. Can't say pbase has any thing quite like it.
Just want to let you know how proud I am of you. You have become quite the artist. I love you dearly.
It's hard to put an adjective (or even several) to accurate depict your pictures. So I will just say what others have said. Good stuff!
Hi Cindi! Thanks for all your wonderful comments throughout my galleries. I'll be back and take some time to go thru your galleries, it looks like you have alot of great shots that I must take the time to enjoy!
Cheers from Canada,
I REALLY appreciate your kind and encouraging comments. All the best, jc
Who would have thought that brains, beauty and talent could be wrapped up in one package.
You go girl! Love your gallery... Will be back to visit often!
Thanks for taking the time to browse my PAD gallery. Your comments on my gypsy moth cocoon photo are much appreciated. You're right, that is a large cocoon. They can get pretty large and can really do a number on the trees. They almost wiped out every oak tree in the state back in the early '80s!
Thanks for the visit, Cindi, and the comments. I do love and enjoy my family life immensely. Glad you do too. God bless you.
I agree with you completely. There's no place like Texas.
GODS CRITTERS was a joy to look at . And put a smile on my face. THANK YOU
Ron S. Bernardo

Your work is absolutely great! Your Race for the Cure Gallery showed your wonderful attitude and compassion for others, and your vibrant personality touched me. I am impressed and also want to know why some man hasn't put a ring on your finger - you are an amazing person.

Thank you for your comment. I was in the Hill country last week as was dissapointed in the extreme lack of wildflowers. West of and around Brenham though... different story.
Thank you Cindi for visiting my gallery and the nice comment. You have a wonderful collection of images here. I'm also glad to find that you're health has improved. Keep on keeping on! :)

Thanks for your comment on my duck sauce shot. I'm in Richardson, TX, just north of the Big D.
Thanks for visiting and making a comment. Your visit was what enabled me to find your wonderful work. Your photos have exquisite coloring and I can tell you have a good eye! Ill be coming back often Ride safe and be good... Big Mike ;o)
I really like your "FOLKS OF ALL KINDS" gallery. I was amazed at your collection. How do you talk to these people to let you take their picture? You must have kissed the blarney stone as the Irish say.
You did an amazing job on your "My Artistic Side, Sort of" gallery. They are very beautiful and unique. What kind of photo processing do you use?
Keep up the great work!
Thank for your nice comments.
When I take pictures with a macro lens at home, 90% of the times I will use a tripod and a remote cord. Without a tripod, it's very difficult to focus on an object for me. Plus, I like to use lower ISO (100 or 200) in order to get rich colors.
The girl with Sweetness in the picture is my husband's daughter. I am a few years older than her. Sweetness is her dog.
I'm Claudia's sister Judy. She just sent me the link to your site. Your photos are awesome. You have a wonderful eye for composition. I see you selling postcards, notecards, posters etc. in your future. Glad you guys had fun on your trip to Round Rock. Keep up the hobby and turn it into a business.
I love your galleries. Your "ALL ABOUT TEXAS" tells about it all - simplicity is beauty.
I am looking forward to seeing more of your photos. They are great!
Thanks, Cindi. I felt the same way.
I have so much fun with my camera and I will try taking photos everyday.
I really enjoy visiting your galleries. I have the same kind camera you have: I like to read your "full exif" on each photo and learned so much from you. Thank you very much for your nice comments.
Winter and early spring weather is pretty harsh in Chicago. During this season, I cannot get beautiful photos outside. This is the main reason I bought a set of macro lenses two weeks ago. You will love your macro lenses. You will have so much fun with control lighting, select object ... Enjoy!
your pictures are absolutely wonderfull, you truly are an angel!!
S J Logan
