I just found out about leaf cutter bees today. I was trying to use my pressure washer and could not get it to work. I started taking things apart and when I disconnected the supply hose I got a handful of green leaves on the wire mesh filter. They had the machine completely stopped up. At first I thought that there was some sort of plant growing in our garden hose. Later while talking to a friend I told the story and he said " you've got a leaf cutter bee". We are in central Arkansas and I had never heard of such. We do have carpenter bees and we see their work all the time. Moral of the story...Keep a cap of some sort on your garden hose when not in use.
