2008 Avon Descent

This year the 135km event had the highest water levels for over 10 years. 1st place - Father & son team Todd and Ian Williamson (No. 166) set a new record time of 2hr 11min 51sec. 2nd place - Brothers Jay and Matthew Branson (No. 144) with a time of 2hr 12min 27sec also beating the previous record set back in 1996.

They all look like they were really carving it up in these pics (well, mostly). You should have been up the top of Syds! I helped more than a few of these guys back into their boats!
