Thanks for the note. Actually, being an unrepentant old liberal, I thought "Left Coast" was a compliment, but I'll try to watch my language in the future. Thanks for the welcome mat - as luck would have it, we're down for a trip to San
Francisco next spring. This will be my first trip to America's most beautiful city since I got my digital camera. As for the Laguna glass shot, taking pictures of art like that intrigues me - is it okay to take that shot because the artwork is publicly displayed? I'll try and locate the gallery so I can at least properly cite the artist. Web work is never done.
It is fun to take different looks at ordinary things. This is very cool. The blue swirls are pretty, but the glass "bubbles" make for a fun filter.
As a native of this state, and born in Los Angeles to boot,...I resent (smiling) the term left coast. It was all of that redistricting the State did sometime back. Guarantees, almost, that the most liberal of all Democrats hold sway. Sigh...not being political, exactly...just that I love the State, and hate to see what is happening.
Come back and visit CA anytime, the key is under the mat. Kind regards, cristine
