Fall over there seems to be a bit trickier than what we experience in New England. We were there the last two weeks of October in 2004 and most of the leaves were still on the trees, even after November 1. I got the impression that the flame-like colors of Vermont and New Hampshire just never happened in Ireland. I would recommend that time because it is at the end of the tourist season, but most things were still open, and the weather was relatively mild. Good luck!
Terry - I was very impressed with your photos of Ireland. My fiance and I are planning a trip to Ireland and would like to visit at a time the Fall colors are in their prime. Can you recommend a time-frame for us to schedule our trip? I would greatly appreciate it! Jill
