Three days in March Exploring Manhattan

We've lived on Long Island for 17 years, and in that time have never spent the night in the city. We've been to the city hundreds of times, but never spent the night (except in the 1970s as tourists). When a friend of ours offered her apartment while she was travelling, we made sure to trade nights at work to make that happen. I think I logged 11 hours of walking time, and felt like it, but it was fabulous.
