Autumn Color 2009

The color was at peak on Oct 17th but the weather didn't cooperate for photos so the color at the FairLane Estate woods wasn't as brilliant as in previous years. However, the woods walk did produce some photos of three sizes of sunning turtles, which was a bonus.

Just beautiful, Valerie! I do so admire your photographical/artistic talents...not to mention jealousy and envy. Are you alright? I've been trying to get ahold of you to no avail.

Beautiful Photos ! Hard to pick a favorite. Some say " Everything happens for a reason". Had you tried on the 17th, you may have missed the turtles. Thanks for sharing ;-)

beautiful photographs - great colors - envy you that. Not much in the way of trees etc. here where I live unfortunately - it's a concrete jungle!!

You know me, my favorites are the turtles...something about God's creatures captivate me. I wish we had trees that had gorgeous leaves like you have there. It looks more like Spring here, with all the recent rains we've had.

What a beautiful album. Stunning colours and leaf shapes, and that gorgeous tree outside Ford HQ. The tutles are certainly a bonus – great shots too. Looks like a superb walk – and those terrific reflections. Well worth a viewing! T

Val, You really got some nice pictures. I was surprised to see the turtles still out this late in the year. The Lake picture was really nice. Reflections was well done. I like Ford Headquarters, too. The intertwined leaves of gold and green were pretty. Nature is pretty smart. You caught the best of fall even if it was a not so great day. That's what the days that I went were like. The day for me seemed to brighten up and it looks like you brightened up the day there. Thanks for the visit. Sug
