Snow Geese are slightly larger than Ross' Geese, have longer bills, and show a black "grin patch" along the inside of their bill. The feathered cheek of a Snow Goose meets the bill in a rounded border.
Snow Geese have proportionally longer necks than Ross' Geese, and their heads tend to be flatter and not as softly rounded as in Ross' Geese.
