This photo was taken around February 16th, 1997, in Eastern Washington using slide film. The same weekend I got my life Northern Hawk-Owl and Gyrfalcon, giving me three (along with the Snowy) lifers from my all-time top ten most wanted birds. Throw in an NBA basketball game and the companionship of a wonderful girlfriend, and it truly was a Valentine's Day Weekend to remember.
