Looking closely at the original image, and then comparing it with the other photographs, you can assume that it's a Lesser Yellowlegs rather than the Greater shown in the other images that are posted here. The barring on the tertials of the Lesser is less dense than on the Greater in these photos, and tan rather than white. But otherwise, I wouldn't know if this was a Lesser OR a Greater Yellowlegs.
And I don't know if that difference in tertial barring varies from individual bird to individual bird, or if it's a function of age. I DON'T think it's related to either species, but now I want to check out other photos and see if I noticed differences.
