I didn't realize at the moment, but it is actually a Broad-billed motmot and not a Rufous... Back then some one had told me that there was a Rufous motmot resident in that area, so I didn't even think it could be something else. The other times that I saw it, it turned out to be a Broad-billed. They even had a nesthole right where we landed the boat at the Serra landing.
Pointers: geen chin, lots of green on the belly and big black spots on breast. Probably also bill shape and shape of mask....
Hope this doesn't cost you a new species... ;-)
