I use focal length as required and yes sometimes I am lucky enough to be close enough to use less than 400.

Impressive gallery, but I have one question: why do you not zoom in at 400mm with the 100-400mm? Many shots are at 100-200mm.I can't believe you are so close that you have to use 100-200mm?
