The owl has the intense look of a natural killer. Wonderful capture. ~v~

Very impressive! There is definitely an expression of a killer on the bird's face.

Fantastic capture... I have only tried birds in flight once, and i know how hard it is to capture a shot with spot on focus.. This is perfect...

We have recently seen a european eagle owl in Bolton, England. There have been other sightings around the town reported in The Bolton News - our local paper. A huge bird, easily 2 feet tall with massive wings and a loud call. Amazing!!!!!!!!!!

Hello, Joanne, I do not know where is Your garden, and, of course - even the rarest of wild species can be met in surprising and antropogenic neighbourhoods, but I suggest You check the Tawny Owl (Strix aluco) and the Long-Eared Owl (Asio otus) to compare it with Your "garden" owl ;) As for the photos here - great job, full of respect [pity the EXIFs are wiped out though..] !!

What a beautiful bird. You won't believe this but, I have seen this type of bird in the field at the back of our garden.

This is amazing. Looks like a still from LOTR. Very dramatic and has a cinematic feel to it. Cracking stuff
