And eventually, after maturing in oak barrels, it is laid to rest in dedicated bottles... to be opened sometime in the future. When opened in a decade time or so, the lucky person will be subjected to beautifully integrated soft waxy, vanilla and oak flavours and textures. Over the years the golden tone will go deeper to an incredible deep gold colour, often with a nose of orange marmalade, peach and apricots. An impeccable balance with the acidity to balance the weight of the fruits. Very long apricot and quince finish. Lovely stuff.

Lovely detailed image, and a most informative note. Now, what are you having with it for dessert?

The bottles are a work of art in themselves, its almost a shame to open them. What an indulgence that would be. Fine image too. Well done.
