This year's BRAT ride passed through the hills of the western part of East Tennessee. Our week began with a very nice breakfast cruise down the Tennessee River on the River Queen. After 350 of us debarked in Chattanooga we rode across our first mountain of the week and into the very scenic Sequatchie Valley. The week challenged us with several more long climbs and provided us with lots of beautiful scenery. We stayed in four beautiful state parks and two rural towns as we followed near the Cumberland Trail. We had some nightly entertainment along the way with the most popular being the bluegrass group while camped at Frozen Head SP.
