Project here was to make a display stand mounting for a 8 inch diameter metal art piece. The metal art here is unsigned. Its made very nicely though in the shape of a well formed coil and is powder coated. The coil is formed using 3/4 inch wide spring steal band. The clients request is for the mounting to be of the same design as the original mounting which was badly weathered painted MDF board. The client intends this piece to be placed outside the home displayed on a covered deck. I suggested several options and the teak wood option was the one chosen.
