Forgive me - of course it is a cormorant. My only excuse is that I processed and uploaded this photo rather late at night after working all evening, and I just couldn't think straight. I shall correct the photo title as soon as I can.

Very beautiful image. The water surface so smooth and the net really make the perfect ambiance. But one correction. I think this is a Cormorant, and most probably a Double-crested Cormorant (Phalacrocorax auritus). A heron has a much longer beak.
