Permanent 'Feathered Residents' of our property

We own a reasonably sized property in the Waitakere Ranges, an area with strict protection of flora and fauna. As a result we have many different types of birds living in our trees and bush. Paradise for a keen bird photographer. Currently the big challenge is to get 'THE PIC' of a bird in flight. A couple are 'ok', but a long way to go. All the birds pictured are very regular visitors, 'Scuffy' for example is on our deck nearly all of the day. She chatters away to us, has a very distinctive 'voice' and no doubt we could have her tame enough to feed from our hands. Magpies have done so.........White doves hover very close to Lyn when she runs the hose into the bird-bath......Fan-tails come within a metre when you are walking thru the bush part of our property...........
