Northern England and Scotland from late May to early June 2011.

The weather was consistently cool (50-60 degrees F), often windy, usually cloudy though there were only a few light rain showers. Fortunately, every day there were some breaks in the clouds with at least brief periods of sunlight. These conditions were not ideal for photography but often provided an appropriate mood for the rather bleak landscapes.

Note: time stamp was not re-set to UK time so actual UK time is 7 hours later in the day than the time indicated in the EXIF data.
