Wild pig killed by Mang Binancio and sons

The dead pig is being carried like a backpack strapped to the back of the man in the middle. The pigs are hunted using
metal-tipped spears and hunting dogs that flush game out of the dense undergrowth of the forest.
When the hunters hear the dogs barking they say they can tell what type of animal has been flushed and try to anticipate
the direction the animal will be driven by the dogs. If they think the animal is a wild pig,
they then run off in an attempt to ambush the animal, leaving the slow and clumsy anthropologist behind.
The Tagbanua typically refuse to kill other forest animals, concentrating only on pigs.

I left Puerto Princesa twenty years ago to live in Australia and returns every five years
for a short visit to my family my kids did'nt had much chnace to go around Puetro Princesa as they were small then, last December 2007 we were lucky enough to spend six long weeks we all had a ball, they had the chance to see many places and experience the simple way of life of the Palawenos and now they are planning to return very soon as they were captivated by the charm and beauty of Puerto Prncesa City. As for me I did'nt realize how much i missed my hometown. Thank you for the wonderful images you posted on your website it made me want to go back real soon. We've taken hundreds of pictures to remind us of the time spent there and how great the place and the people of Palawan in general
