Popularly referred to as the 'Painted Church', located inland from the ocean in the southern part of the Kailua-Kona district.
The church was constructed in the 1800s and was decorated with brightly painted frescoes by Fr. John Velge between 1899 - 1904.
This image is not HDR. It was underexposed to avoid completely losing the highlights in the windows and then shadows were brought out in Lightroom.
