Bedroom wall, below right of windowboard - diagonal crack just papered over. No preparation, haphazard brush strokes over rough patching with filler.

This was the only wall in the bedroom, together with one in the bathroom, requiring significant repair work as agreed*. It just didn't get done.

* The other walls required stripping of old paper (bathroom) and rubbing down to deal with old skim which had crazed and cracked. Hardly the appalling state which sent the contractor into histrionics when asked to explain afterwards.
