Message from Tom Casey
Thanks in advance for visiting.
Tom and Jean married in 1990, June 22 at the church where Tom served as altar boy in his youth. Jean is the daughter of Hugh Webster (two star USN class of 55) while Tom is the son of Tom Sr. (Cdr. USN class of 43). Both children were raised Navy brats on different coast but very similar upbringings. Jean had a daughter from a previous marriage (Elizabeth) who was four years old when they started dating. She now lives in Kentucky and works with computers or something. Meanwhile, Tom and Jean had a boy and a girl then stopped procreating and when they were out of diapers made the move to Lynchburg VA in 1996. We rented a house for a year while deciding where to live and work. Finally, the old Victorian on Rivermont became available and we moved in. The house was built in 1899 to 1901 and is in remarkable shape. (see the gallery page of tcasey.net) and we are very happy here. The two children went to Bedford Hills elementary school and then Linkhorn Middle, and this year (2008) they will both be at EC Glass High School. Tommy as a junior and Sam as a freshman puke. Tommy plays football and wrestles while Samantha struts her stuff in Marching Band. We look forward to a very good year.
