Challenge 30 - Friends

Challenge #30 - Friends

Take a picture of some friends.

Here are some inherent issues you may encounter:

-friends instantly contort, gesture, or grimace when they see you about to press the shutter button
-friends may not want their picture seen by anybody
-non-friends may ruin picture (photo bomb?)

also, keep in mind

-they don't have to be your friends
-they don't have to be human
-the word 'friend' or 'friends' could be easily used in a caption for your photo

I vote for #9. Brings back so many memories of spending way too much time on one of those floating docks when I was just a tadpole around the same age as these two.

Many great shots.
I will vote for #9 for the very strong technical qualities. The much darker foreground forces you to focus on the main subject. Composition is centered here, but it works for this picture. The background is great. Makes me reminisce many a summer past.

I also like #3 and #8 a lot, friendship for sure, tight crop of the image is great. No 8 has a great play going on between the two friends.

I'll have to vote for #8 as it made me laugh and reminded me of how true friends make you feel (like just being yourself, as silly as it is)!!! All others were very good also, but .... Thanks all for sharing !

My vote is for #3. It was tough for me between #3 & #8 though, they both conentate the subject without words or a catpion, but I enjoyed the coloured one more (Is that Gail Gavan?). #1 & #2 were both fantastic shots as well, but it think the "friends" meaning could have been shown more through a different view.
