Challenge 34- Fall Colours

FALL COLOURS

THIS is a PRIZE challenge.

Bob Boisevrt will make a print for you, of the picture of your choice (one of your masterpieces, not necessarily the same as the challenge entry),
up to 12 x 18 inches, archival quality print.
You can even visit Bob to print.

So, maples are near full glory… go for it.

You can submit up to TWO shots this time.
Pictures must be dated and posted between September 30th, and late at night on Monday October 11th.
Voting October 12th and 13th.
… and
Winner must be present to claim prize at the October 14th meeting.

I like number 7 - I would have preferred to see the entire leaf in focus but understand the difficulty in achieving that with macro. Beautiful colors and composition.

Tough choice as always! I vote for 7. Nice and simple, nice colour.
Lots to like here!
11 is great too (but not so sharp when you look at the original?) and 23 appeals to me a lot.

I really like 2 and 3 but my official vote is for 4. That's an amazing shot.

#'s 2, 4 and 11 really stand out.

#2 for its almost HDR effect. Perfect lighting & tone all the way through.
#11 is very classic, I appreciate the low-level positioning.
#4 GETS MY VOTE ... it's simply precious and captures the "fall" very well.

I vote for # 8, although the leaves are changing, they are doing so in the presence of a long dead stump which echos the promise of yet another spring. Ok its a stretch but I liked the photo.

I like 2 and 24. In pic #2, I like the two dark trees on both side, sun behind the could, green field in the far, river and of course the colous of the trees.

But my vote goes to Pic #24 simply because I feel that I'm there in the scene. (#11 and 21 is also good).

PS: I took a peek here earlier this weekend and there was a sunset photo. I loved it but it's gone now!? It probably would have had my vote.

It would be great for a Fall Calendar. (See the ORIGINAL Version)

I would encourage everyone to see all ORIGINAL or LARGE versions before voting on a thumbnail.

Wow, I like # 2, 4, 11 & 12 ... but my final vote goes to # 4 for its originality. It captured the death of fall with a touch of life also, very nice. THanks all !
