Challenge 21 - After Sunset/Night Photography

Most of the pictures that we have here were shot during the day and I thought that it could be a good idea to challenge ourselves and do some After Sunset /Night Pictures. The long weekend is here, this is the best time to do so... but remember to wear something warm.

My vote is for #10. I like the overall composition and the exposure is perfect.

I really like no. 2 & 5, but I also like the photo of building M-55 and the shot of the market from the parking garage. I'm going to vote for #5. I like that the driver's eyes and face are in focus in the mirror, while everything else is whizzing by. It could be a billboard.

I like #10. I like how the sky contrasts with the front building.. i like the lighting, and how the shot is angled.

It was hard to pick just one this week.
#6 dreamy sparks- I like it for some reason
#7 Always love star trail shots
#9 cool but 1/2 pic is asphalt..I'd like to see that shot landscape
#10 nice view - the perspective is elevated which isn't always easy to achieve.
#12, 13 - nice compositions

I hope we get this challenge again

Tough choice this week (and every week!)

#11 is definitely my favourite pic in this set, but it doesn't evoke "night" to me in the same way that the others do. But it's still an awesome shot.

My vote #13. Powerful verticality...and I like the hints of colour in the middle and the way they light is cast on the left side of the building.

My vote goes to #11. It is an interesting variation of the theme. I like the picture composition and details.

Oh my, I'm torn between # 9 & # 10 ... but they are all very good. I'll go with # 9 .. as it took me off guard upon opening it. Great view and the colours are amazing. Just like a painting. Nature really is great without anyone doing anything to it ! Thanks all for sharng. Linda

Great turnout here again for the challenge.

I vote for #2. I like the hard silhouette of the skyline. A different approach to night photography I haven't really thought of previously. Now I have to try it.

I have to say that theses are all REALLY GREAT SHOTS! it's hard to pick, but my favourite is # 5, and second favourite is # 10. Deffinatly, one of the hardest choices to have made in the challenges.
