1st challenge - Signs of spring

The interesting thing here is that everyone has a different take on what spring means.

Although I find the 'faux framing' a bit distracting my vote goes to the Sugar Bush with an honourable mention to the cold yellow grass. Both have nice composition that leads the eye.

(I copied this from the "Challenge printemps"... ~Linda) My vote - I find that this picture is a great view of spring and the vegetation life cycle that begins. There is also a good use of depth of field to blur the background of and bring our focus on the vegetation. Anne-Marie Dionne

I vote for the Bud, Challenge Printemps! Most of the others could also be found in late fall or even in winter in some parts of Europe. The Bud speaks of new beginnings and comming warmth. The Bicycles were a very close second, but, not having a motor really was the killer there, sad really it is a very good picture. John

I vote for the Sugar Bush photo. It combines a foreground bucket with a line of other buckets that lead your eye right into the photo. Nice! -- Allen
