TC Photo Club Thursdays Meeting – November 26, 2009
Bob Boivert chaired the meeting; 14 people attended.

NEWS
Bob informed us that the club has now enough money to pay for pBase account renewal.

In January 2010, TC Photo Club will celebrate its 1st anniversary. Volunteers needed to organized a little something like a pizza lunch or a restaurant lunch. Please contact Bob.

Line Blain has accepted to maintain the club’s secretariat. If you have information about photo exhibits, events or activities of interest, contact her and she’ll put the reference in the weekly newsletter/meeting minutes.

The Red Trillium Studio Tour is held semi-annually amidst the rolling hills and beautiful countryside of West Carleton, Ontario and features 36 of the area's leading artists and artisans.

WINTER PROJECT
Linda Falardeau is in charge or the Winter Project. Contrary to the Summer Project, format will be left to participants – only themes will be imposed. It won’t be necessary to take a picture for each subject. Linda has asked for a volunteer to set up the Winter Challenge’s gallery.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY – OLYMPIC FLAME IN OTTAWA
December 12 and 13, the Olympic flame will be going through the Ottawa Region. That will be an opportunity for an interesting shooting project.

PHOTOSHOP CLASS
Make a good picture from 2 bad ones: a quick look at selection tools (Lasso, Marquee), Feather and Blur tools, Healing Brush, Magic Wand. Some of what was discussed can be find here:
