When you first enter the cave it is full of stalagtites and stalagmites. Then you come upon a huge dark and misty cavern, the equivalent of a 66-story building. To add to the mystique, your ears are assaulted with the thundering sound of rushing water. With the darkness of the cave, lit only by small lights along the walkways, and the mist from the river below, it felt like you were going into the Journey to the Center of the Earth. It was very eerie but truly amazing. Unfortunately we were not allowed to take pictures until we reached the exit of the cave seen here. It would have been difficult at best due to the darkness of the cave. Unforgetable adventure!
