These are photos from a 10 day trip I took to the Adirondacks / New Hamshire in 2002. I spent 3 days in the wilderness as a sole hiker. I didn't see anyone until I came out mid week. This was a record snowfall and extreme temerature year for the area. The snowpack was 4 foot and the daytime temperature was 8 degrees and the nightime was -17. It was cold! These pictures were taken with a Canon A40 (not the best, but it worked)... The trip was amazing and my journal reflects a refreshed and spirit anew. Once I left here I traveled through Vermont and then onto New Hamshire to climb in the White Mountains near Mount Washington with some friends.`tberry
